Opens in Santorini and moves through the Dead Sea, Antarctica, the Grand Canyon, the Panama Canal, Petra, the Arctic Circle, Jerusalem, Chile, Greece, Greenland, Kenya (“Dawn on the Savannah and the Eyes of a Giraffe”), Provence, Varanasi, New York, the Maldives, Amsterdam, Paris, Los Angeles, Sydney, Vancouver, Istanbul, Iceland, Barcelona, Monaco, Cape Town, and Hawaii, among others.

Volume Two — How to Become a Cruise Citizen and Earn Free Cruise Tickets

Closes with her five favorite voyages—Alaska, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Hawaii, and a transatlantic crossing—and a final chapter, “When the World Walked Toward Me.”

Andrew Halarewicz is thanked in the closing acknowledgments for photography and for helping write and edit the book.
